Do my clients need to make an account?
No. That's one of the core ideas. Clients get a private link with no login and no app to download. They open it to see the current status, timeline and delivery date.
Is this a full project management or CRM tool?
No, on purpose. Pending Magic is simple: one status per commission, a shareable link and automatic updates. If you need a full CRM or team workflow builder, this isn't it.
Can I customize the stages?
Yes. Start with our built-in templates and customize them to fit your exact workflow.
Is there an app I can download?
Yes. Pending Magic is on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac, so you can manage commissions on the go. Your clients still don't need to download anything — their tracking link opens right in a browser.
Does Pending Magic process payments?
You can, if you want to. Connect your own Square account and clients can pay a deposit or invoice right from their tracking link. The funds go straight to your Square account; Pending Magic never holds your money. Prefer to keep it manual? Skip Square and mark payments as received yourself.
